Sarah, to me this photograph is stunningly beautiful. I would like to make a print of it and hang it on the wall. I like how the vines droop in front and how the whole scene is in focus. The colors, the various shapes, the heavy light make dampness tangible.
Sarah and Matt, do you know about the bookstore Shakespeare & Co. at 37 Rue de la Boucherie, 75005 Paris, and the website Thinkparis.com? I saw a documentary about the owner who died recently in his 90's and his daughter is in her 20"s. Anyhow, the place looks like your kind of place--books everywhere. Love, Olive Oyl
